Hello. My name is Mark.
I was born in Sussex, England. I am a Primary school teacher but I also teach students privately sfter school. I have lived and worked in many different countries (Egypt, Russia, Thailand, UAE, Korea, Ukraine, Uk,….).
I have taught EAL English from low levels to fluency. I have taught IELTS exams to teenagers, Trinity and various essay related tasks such as argumentative writing.
I like to read English literature and my favourite topics are biographies, history, sports and true crime books.
I like sports. I used to play football for a team. Now I am more of a runner, gym-goer and sports fitness enthusiast (boxing, yoga, sambo, etc..). I hope to improve your English and get to know you at the same time.
My goal is to improve your English to the level that you want and motivate you to go onwards. I myself learn Russian online twice a week. I am used to this style of study and I think it is a great way of learning.
I am a newly qualified TEFL teacher and keen to help others learn English. I love learning about other countries and their cultures. Alongside this job, I work in a health service as a psychologist. I have taught psychology to students in the past and I have many years’ experience working with people who find it hard to learn and communicate. I aim to create relaxed and enjoyable lessons, where students feel supported and able to say when they don’t understand something.
